This short, sweet blog post resonated with me for the laundry biz...
Why you, why now? Quick thoughts on how being the cheapest (as many in this biz seem to think is actually a viable option) isn't really a long term strategy, and how proximity to customers isn't always possible (except in the laundry biz where it's a huge part of making things work). To that point, not only do want good demographics - you want great ones. If you're not surrounded by tens of thousands in terms of population with more than half of them renting - seems it would be really hard to stay alive for the long term in this business.
